Overview

A four-month internship spanning application development, legacy migration and production infrastructure for wine-industry software. The work included a SQL Server-backed API for iPad applications and the development and maintenance of SaaS products covering technical datasheets, CRM and commercial management. On the infrastructure side, a VMware ESXi environment was prepared for production with operational tests and SVN backup processes. The deepest legacy task was a manual port of the existing VB6 backend, including its cryptography algorithms, into the ASP/ASP.NET stack.

What was built

Built a SQL Server-backed API serving mobile applications on iPad.
Developed and maintained SaaS products for technical datasheets, customer relationship management and commercial operations.
Set up a production-ready VMware ESXi environment with operational testing and SVN data-backup processes.
Manually ported the existing VB6 backend and its cryptography algorithms to ASP/ASP.NET.
